Startelling's name is a playful fusion of “star” & “telling,” reflecting our intention to craft narratives that merge celestial wisdom with creative practices. Our readings are titled after literary terms, such as “Index” or “Book Cover,” highlighting our deep appreciation for how literature can either master a biography account or an imaginary representation. Our work is drafted to make people aware of their life's synopsis while acknowledging their inner-outer limitations & possibilities, thus living a more fulfilling path.
On April 15, which happens to be World Art Day, Startelling made its debut. While this was not an intended choice, we took it as an extra sign from the Universe to reinforce our mission: introduce a new vision in which former astrological teachings & techniques collide with creative inspiration and solutions to lead strategic decision-making.
Startelling was envisioned as an “astro-atelier” where theory & practice work together. For us, ancient & artistic views are an everlasting source of exploring our potential. The ancient concept teaches us that our everyday lives, dreams, and creative journeys are achieved at their maximum capacity once our human nature is aligned with the cosmic forces rooted in our birth charts. In contrast, just as artists reflect their experiences and the world around them through their work, symbolizing the passage of time, our internal and external moves also leave important marks in our trajectories over the years.
In that sense, our creative approach (theory + practice) moves away from trends, superficial interpretations, generic descriptions, or even zodiac-based content, often leading to competition and misunderstanding about astrology's functionality (i.e., measuring the efficiency of an inquiring by translating a cosmological language). Instead, our work highlights planetary relevancy, philosophical studies, creative practices, and society's historical moves to provide personalized and immersive tools for people to master their life musings.

In the divinity pillar, we hold all the ancient [re]sources to understand astrology's roots and other teachings that compose the syllabus of our work, such as history, art, and philosophy.Ancestral knowledge—Greek, Egyptian, Indian, and Persian—is not dull when approached as the starting point of any creative act. Have you ever thought that in Greek myths, we recall the beginning of the most original act of creation: telling stories! The myths are what makes us start to reach imagination and, why not, reason.

HUMANITY
knowledge is power

In the humanity pillar, we bring what we've enlightened (divinity) down to Earth. To achieve that, we need language. Language is the highest form of human interaction, and we manage it by organizing an endless combination of words to confer meaning. When we don't know what a symbol or a word means, we appeal to translation, which, after learning, gives us experience. It's about showing & telling. In theory (divinity):
"When a planet is in its domicile like Mercury is in Gemini, they express their themes comfortably."
One of Mercury's representations is writers. Anne Carson has this birth chart placement, and she writes in various styles and navigates well in all of them. Since Gemini is a mutable sign, it represents more than one.

The creative aspect ties theory and experience together to finally start practicing. However, Creativity isn't about making art or being an artist. Creativity is spontaneity through reason or imagination. The outcome can be fictional or biographical, you choose! By stimulating people to reach the ancient [re]source (divinity), we are becoming capable of experiencing (humanity) a new inspirational tool (creativity).
