Startelling was born when I turned 33, an age often associated with visibility, though the backstage was set a few years earlier. In 2021, I delved deeper into astrology's ancient foundations, one book and one birth chart at a time—until it stepped into the spotlight.

I intentionally crafted Startelling as an astro-atelier. But instead of reaching for canvas and paint, I use books, words, images, and years of study—across Astrology, Art, History, Philosophy, Psychoanalysis, and Metaphysics—all blended into one practice. My medium, it turns out, is words & symbols. I even coined the term creative astrologer to define my role in this field.

Despite having fulfilling work experiences over the years, I never quite found my happy place—a familiar challenge for someone with the Moon in the 10th house of career. Writing, however, has always been my most genuine form of expression (thank you, Mercury in the 5th house!), but existing platforms rarely accommodated my unconventional ideas (hello, Venus in Aries!). It became clear: I needed to create my own space.

Also, there was another gap that stood out. Astrology is often used for "improving your personality," but where is the astrology that helps you see your own life the way you'd see a character's—the astrology for the life you live, and the one you create? I couldn't find it. So, I built it.

Immigrating to the United States made me long for more creative autonomy in a foreign language and country. After years of wandering & wondering, the stars and the arts finally collided, forming my own creative constellation—Startelling. Welcome!

Although I graduated in Fashion, and it was there that I first learned to spot art, shaping me both aesthetically and intellectually, Literature has always been my greatest source of inspiration. The deeper I explored astrology, the more I realized how much the two share—both seeking meaning beyond the surface, both telling stories that transcend linear time.

As a poet, I notice hidden forms structured in language. In English, for example, you read a book, and you book a reading—the verb and noun repeat. That small curiosity pointed me toward a much wider web of connections between literature & the stars, which later, stars & telling (from storytelling) formed Startelling. It’s the same instinct that shows up whenever I read a chart. I tell stories written in the stars.

I approach astrology with imagination, intellect, realism, and originality. But originality, to me, isn’t just about innovation; it’s about origin. From the Latin origo ("to rise, to be born") origin speaks to beginnings, the force that brings something into being. That’s the astrology I practice, not fortune-telling, but story-revealing: tracing every life back to its inception.
